GvR (goofy vs Regular) competition from Athnies brings together the best skaters for an original and particularly interesting competition. The competition format is based on your stance on the skateboard: Goofy or Regular, to clear up any doubts, Goofy - right foot forward, Regular - left foot forward ...
The GVR competition took place at the giant Lake Forest Skatepark in California on October 5, 6 and 7, and the total prize pool reached the crazy sum of $75,000, with skaters winning money at every stage of the competition, from advancing to the finals to the losers!
The winning skater from the winning team wins $15,000 (Goddamn it!)
In any case, the skaters were divided into two teams that competed email data each other in different stages. The goal of each skater was to score as many points as possible for himself and his team. The competition lasted three days, with 10 skaters from each team landing on the ice on the last day.

Among the familiar names in the competition were:
Goofy - Jeremy Rogers , Nigga Houston, Chad Fernandez, Lutzke, Morgan Smith and more...
In the regular - Sheckler, Rick McCrank, Leo Romeo, Billy Marks, Fabrizio and more...
In the first competition held in 2004, the regulars took it, then in 2005, 2006 the Goofy took it, this year, as mentioned, the regulars did a better job.
The results:
First Place Regular ($15,000) - Luan De Oliveira (the new weapon from Flip and ES).
Second Place Regular ($11,000) - Rick McCrank.
Third Place Regular ($6000) - Sean Malto .

16th place - (First in body - $2000) - Jeremy Rogers
17th place - (Second in body - $2000) - Nija Houston
18th place - (Third in body - $1000) - Tyler Hendley

At the same time, there was a pool competition for elderly skaters like Steve Caballero and even Dune Peters (for those who know him), my grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather... who even won a nice and respectable 5th place ($600). If this is of interest to anyone, click on it (beware of the danger of falling asleep!!!).
